1.at 1）表示時(shí)間的一點(diǎn) Eg. at six 在六點(diǎn) at noon 在中午 at midnight 2）表“短時(shí)間” At breakfast 在早餐時(shí) at night 在晚上 at Christmas 在圣誕節(jié)時(shí)

2.On 1）用于“日期、周日” on Sunday 在星期日，on Saturday 在星期六 on may 1st 在五月一日 2）表具體時(shí)間，具體日期 On July 17 在 7 月 17 日 on a hot afternoon 在一個(gè)炎熱的下午

3.In 1）用于“周，月，年，世紀(jì)”之前 In the week 在這周，in December 在 12 月 in Spring 在春天（spring 還有彈簧的意思）。In the 18th century 在十八世紀(jì) 2）用于泛指的上午、下午、晚上 In the morning（afternoon、evening）在上午（中午、晚上）

4.Before 在……之前 Eg. We will come to the city before September 1st 九月一日前我們將來到這個(gè)城市。 She was a teacher before she came to this city。在來這座城市之前，她是一名教師。 We’ ll see that film （before long）. 我們不久（或會(huì)兒）將要看那部電影了。

5.After 在……之后 Eg. After dinner I usually have a walk.我經(jīng)常飯后散步。 We play football after school。課后后我們踢足球。 They will return the day after tomorrow。他們后天回來。

6.During 在……期間 During the summer holidays.在暑假期間 During the week 本周期間 During the last few years 在最近幾年。（回憶 few 的用法。忘了就查）

7.Through 表示“從頭至尾，一直” Eg. Through the night 整夜 through the ages 古往今來 sit through a lecture 聽完整節(jié)課

8.For 表示“一段時(shí)間，達(dá)……之久” Eg .for 5 days 5 天 for three weeks 3 個(gè)星期 for tow months 兩個(gè)月

9.From “從……起”，表示時(shí)間的起點(diǎn)，不表示連續(xù). 一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)：He works hard from morning to night 他從早到晚努力工作 一般過去時(shí)：He lived in the city from 2000 to2005.他從 2000 到 2005 年曾住在這座城市。 一般將來時(shí)：I shall be with you in New York one week from today.從今天起我將和你在紐約 待一個(gè)星期

10 .Since “自從……以來”表示從過去某時(shí)到現(xiàn)在為止，與完成時(shí)態(tài)連用 He has lived in the city since 1990. 他自從 1990 年以來一直住在這個(gè)城市。 He has been studying English since the beginning of this year,他從今年初開始一直學(xué)習(xí)英語。 He had spoken to her only once since the party.自從那次聚會(huì)以來，他只跟她說過一次話。
